Troubleshooting

Open the failed run in Monitor → Message Processing; the error text identifies the failing step. The tables below cover the common cases.

Symptom	Check
HTTP 401 or empty response from the Global Exchange Rates API	GER_API_KEY missing or mistyped; subscription expired. Verify the key in the developer portal.
HTTP 404 calling the Global Exchange Rates API	The configured address was altered; restore the default endpoint from the shipped configuration.
Run Completed but nothing was delivered	Normal when the source published nothing for the requested date (weekend/holiday); the log properties contain a "no rates published" note. See Scheduling & Backfill.
A currency you expected is missing	The chosen provider doesn't publish it.
Rates look wrong or inverted	The wrong GER_PROVIDER is configured, or (on-premise) ratio factors; see below.
