Installation
The integration is delivered as an SAP Integration Suite content package containing both integration flows.
Prerequisites
- An SAP Integration Suite tenant with the Cloud Integration capability activated.
- A user with permission to import and deploy integration content (typically the
PI_Integration_DeveloperandPI_Administratorrole collections).
Import the package
- Download the package file from the Global Exchange Rates website.
- In SAP Integration Suite, open Design → Integrations and APIs.
- Choose Import and select the downloaded file.
- The Global Exchange Rates package appears in your package list, containing both integration flows.
Note
If the package already exists in your tenant (for example after a previous installation), the import updates it in place.
Choose your integration flow
Open the package and pick the flow that matches your landscape:
- Global Exchange Rates to S4HANA Cloud: for SAP S/4HANA Cloud (Public Edition). Continue with Configuration: S/4HANA Cloud.
- Global Exchange Rates to SAP ECC - S4HANA On-Premise: for ECC, S/4HANA on-premise, and S/4HANA Cloud Private Edition. Continue with Configuration: ECC & On-Premise.
You only deploy the flow you need; the other can remain undeployed in the package.
Updating to a new version
To update, download the latest package file and repeat the import; the package and its flows are updated in place. Review your configuration after an update and redeploy.
