Global Exchange Rates for SAP
The Global Exchange Rates integration package delivers the official exchange rates published by central banks and tax authorities directly into SAP, automatically, every day.
The package runs on SAP Integration Suite and contains two ready-made integration flows. Deploy the one that matches your SAP landscape:
| Integration flow | For | How rates arrive |
|---|---|---|
| Global Exchange Rates to S4HANA Cloud | SAP S/4HANA Cloud (Public Edition) | Through the SAP Market Rates Management - Bring Your Own Rates service, SAP's channel for automated rate updates in S/4HANA Cloud |
| Global Exchange Rates to SAP ECC - S4HANA On-Premise | SAP ECC 6.0+, S/4HANA on-premise, S/4HANA Cloud Private Edition | As standard EXCHANGE_RATE01 IDocs via SAP Cloud Connector; nothing is installed in your SAP system |

Key capabilities
- Official sources: rates exactly as published by each central bank or tax authority, in the source's own base currency, with the true publication date. See the full list of providers and currencies on the coverage page.
- Multiple sources, one subscription: assign different providers to different companies or rate types by deploying configured copies of a flow; one Global Exchange Rates subscription covers all of them.
- Publication-aware: a configurable lookback window handles sources that publish several days at once (for example weekly publishers).
- Historical backfill: load past rates for a new implementation with a single configuration value. See Scheduling & Backfill.
- Fully transparent: every run, the fetched rates, and the delivered payload are visible in SAP Integration Suite monitoring. See Monitoring & Alerting.
